Well there you have it, one of the worlds foremost great minds & scientists has declared that in the beginning was nothing, nothing went "bang", and hey presto here we all are............thats it then now you know.

Forgive me for not quite having the intellectual capacity that Stephen has or the obvious infinite scientific knowledge that the other peddlar of nonsense, Richard Dawkins, possesses..........but can we just back up here a minute, cos I am a bit slow in such matters! At the risk of appearing stupid, can I ask a few questions, cos now you have told me God does not exist, and you guys should know, I mean you are eminent scientists, and know all about these things, its kind of come as a shock to me.
The statement "God does not exist", is an absolute statement you would agree?
And requires the author of said statement to require absolute knowledge, correct?
To further qualify ones authority regarding said statement, you would also have to be:
1. Omnipresent (Exist everywhere simultaneously).
2. Omniscient (To have total knowledge). 3. Omnipotent (Having unlimited power or authority).
The very same attributes that God (sorry I forgot), this mythical being ascribes to himself.
So you should be able to tell me, with absolute authority, how many atoms there are in the known universe.......and while your at it how many atoms in the unknown universe?
How many hairs on the back of a Tibetan Yaks neck?
How many grains of sand on planet Earth?
What exactly is Gravity?
That will do for starters.
I am sorry for such levity, but its my way of dealing with trauma!
So lets get serious for a moment.
What is science,..............(the intellectual and practical activity encompassing the systematic study of the structure and behaviour of the physical and natural world through observation and experiment:) Oxford English Dictionary.
So, Mr Hawkins & Dawkins, you both observed and performed repeated experiments at the beginning of the universe? I dont think so. Do you know anyone who did? Sorry i didnt quite catch that........did you say "No".
Thank you for your honesty, so your conclusion is based on what?
A theory............(a supposition or a system of ideas intended to explain something, especially one based on general principles independent of the thing to be explained:) Oxford English Dictionary.
Ah! I see your just supposing, which means you dont really know, or put another way, you have no idea.
Religion.........(a pursuit or interest followed with great devotion:) Oxford English Dictionary.
Thats it weve cracked it, you and Mr. Dawkins are men of religion, excellent, I just love science, dont you, thats 2 things I have learned today.
"In the beginning God created the Heavens and the Earth..........." Genesis (Ch1:1)
